A Few More Quick ATCs...

Just a few more quick ATCs. These images are from ItkUpiLLi.
I love this shop!!!

I have been super busy with work, as we're entering into the world of end of year concerts, report writing, assessing and basically trying to ensure that everthing is finished properly. I really can't believe how quickly this year has gone- I really love my class this year.

A Couple of Quick ATCs...

Adventurer

Lovely Yellow
The `Lovely Yellow' ATC background has a texture paste background. The `Adventurer' has a Cuttlebug embosssed background and Morroccan border punch from Blue Bazaar. The imagews are from ItkUpiLLi.

Texture Paste

I love my borders punch from Fat Cat's Card Corner. The image is from Digital Collage Sheets.
Although it's hard to tell, I've used texture paste to create the background and left the quote a little grungy-looking.

Glimmermist and Stamped Backgrounds

I used glimmermist with a stencil to create the backgrounds and a punch from Fat Cat's Card Corner to create the borders. The last ATC has mica flakes on it.
I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday!!

Just a quick one...

The stamp is from Bombshell Stamps.

Colourwash ATCs

The Last Post Before School Starts Back...

I used the colourwash and stamped techniques for the backgrounds of these ATCs. These holidays have been great, despite the dramatic start. I've enjoyed being able to relax at home, sleep in etc. Well, I suppose I'll have to brush my hair and get out of my pjs before noon tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

A Mixed Bag...

Can you tell I'm on holidays? I used embossed stamped images and colourwash technique backgrounds on these ATCs. I also used Microscope slides wrapped in Memory Foil by Ranger.
The images are from ItkUpiLLi.
I would love to learn how to solder microscope slides, but unfortunately, I don't have flux or solder. If you know where I can order some, locally or internationally, I'd love some info. Thanks!

Stencilled Backgrounds

I thought I'd give stencilled backgrounds a go.

More Shrink Plastic ATCs

Stamped ATCs

Here are some ATCs I made using Cherrypie Art Stamps.

Thanks to Julie for sending me such a beautiful ATC.

I also have to say THANK YOU to my parents for having us stay unexpectedly early. We were due to travel to Perth for the school holidays, but unfortunately, my husband John, developed a swollen knee, suddenly. He had a tiny graze which became inflamed in hours- his knee was like a basketball!! We had to drive to Perth to have a doctor look at it. (We only have a visiting doctor). After the all night drive- which was absolutely exhausting, (15 hours)-and 4 doctor appointments, strong anti-inflammatories and antibiotics, ultra sounds and a drainage, the knee has settled down. John is fine- and thanks to all the wonderful people who offered their kind support, taking over our classes and asking after John's health.

Tissue Paper Technique and Shrinky Dink Plastic ATCs

N.B. The stamps-I think- are from Judikins. They were orginally on a cube.

Paisley ATC

`Ties That Bind'
This ATC has the stamped image of `The Kiss' by Klimt, on acetate with two paisley shaped frames. I made the background using the colourwash (resist) technique. Sorry about the scan-I really need a new scanner...

Beeswax background ATC.

Tissue Paper ATC

Quilted ATC

I hope you had a terrific weekend. We drove to K-town mainly to top up the pantry- it was a long day, 3 hours there, then back...

I transferred this image to canvas, stitched aound it then added the fabric border and muslin.

Stamped ATC

Stamped Background ATC

I used Michelle Ward's Hot Topic stamps to create the background for this ATC as well as some mica flakes and texture paste for the border. I can't remember where the LOVE stamp is from.

Pepsi Max Can Technique ATC

Drawing

I'm still practising my drawing and did this one today.

Credit Card Technique...

with Cuttlebug diecuts and German Scrap.

Cuttlebug with Pepsi Max Can Technique

I really love the look of the foil technique, but sometimes it's hard to get foil tape, when I want it, so... I just cut up a Pepsi Max can, glue it to some paper or card and run it through the cuttlebug! I pressed some texture paste into edges to form a border and used some turquoise Rub`n'Buff to highlight it.

Credit Card and Webbing Spray Technique 2

One more Credit Card and Webbing Spray ATC.

`Perception'

Credit Card and Webbing Spray Technique ATC

I love this technique because of the different colours and patterns you create, incidentally. I learnt this technique at Kelsey's class, when I lived in Perth.

`Offerings'

New Earrings

I made these after school today. I made extra long hooks and bought these cool beads from Over the Rainbow.

Happy Anniversary to my husband, John. Thanks for 16 wonderful years!!!

Back fom the Holidays

Gold Spot Trevally Rankin Cod

Red Emperor

The girls and I have just returned from our holiday in Perth. A big THANK YOU goes to my parents for having us stay. My Dad has developed pneumonia and has had a pretty tough time of late.

John stayed in town and did some fishing with his Dad who came up for two weeks.

I have a big presentation to give tomorrow at school to the teachers and I really hate public speaking. Once this is over I'm planning an art attack!!!

Resin Fresco ATC

I made another resin fresco ATC using some Cuttlebug borders and a bit of muslin.

I'm so happy to be on holidays after an extremely eventful term. I still have a little work to do for a presentation, but tonight I am doing nothing!
Another couple of resin fresco ATCs.
